This Refund Policy outlines the financial terms for purchases made at www.triadgaming.net. While our Return Policy covers the physical shipment of items, this document explains how and when your money is returned to you.

Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. To be eligible for a return, the process must be started, and the item must be postmarked within this 30-day window. See our Returns Policy Here

1. Refund Approval Process

Financial credits are not issued automatically upon the initiation of a return.

* Inspection Requirement: Refunds are only processed after our technicians have inspected the returned vintage console, game, or accessory to verify its condition and functionality.

* Notification: Once your return is inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund based on the criteria in our Return Policy.


2. Refund Amounts & Deductions

The total amount credited to your account may vary based on the reason for the return:

* Defective or "Not as Described" Items: You will receive a 100% refund of the purchase price plus any original shipping costs paid.

* "Change of Mind" Returns: You will receive a 100% refund of the purchase price plus any original shipping costs paid.

   * Restocking Fee: You will receive a 100% refund of the purchase price plus any original shipping costs paid.

* Sealed Items: You will receive a 100% refund of the purchase price plus any original shipping costs paid.


3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

We cannot issue financial credits in the following instances:

* Items returned without a confirmed Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

* Products damaged due to improper voltage use (e.g., using a modern high-voltage adapter on a vintage console).

* Items purchased "As-Is" or "For Parts/Repair."

* Digital Gift Cards.


4. Refund Methods & Timelines

All approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

* Credit/Debit Cards: Once processed by us, it typically takes 3 business days for your bank to reflect the credit on your statement.

* Digital Wallets (PayPal, etc.): Refunds generally appear within 24–48 hours of approval.

 

5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund within 10 business days of our approval email:

* Check your bank account or credit card statement again.

* Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

* Contact your bank to see if there is a pending transaction.

* If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at admin@triadgaming.net.


6. Chargebacks

To maintain our ability to offer rare and vintage gaming gear, we ask that you contact our support team to resolve any billing disputes. Initiating a chargeback before attempting a resolution with Triad Gaming may result in a permanent ban from future hardware purchases on our platform.

At Triad Gaming, we are dedicated to preserving the legacy of retro gaming. We understand that purchasing vintage consoles and games involves trust. Whether you are adding to your collection or reliving your childhood, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
If your order doesn’t meet your expectations, our return policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to navigate.

Eligibility & Condition
To ensure a smooth return process, please note the following requirements:

* Defective or Non-Functional Items: If a console, game, or accessory fails to function as described, it is eligible for a full refund or exchange.

* Cosmetic Condition: Since some of our items are vintage/pre-owned, they are sold with specific descriptions of their condition. Returns based on cosmetic "wear and tear" that was clearly documented in the product photos or description at the time of sale are not eligible for "item not as described" returns but may be returned under our standard "Change of Mind" policy.

* New/Sealed Items: Any items sold as "New" or "Factory Sealed" (such as certain accessories or modern-release retro gear) must be returned unopened in their original packaging.

* Bundle Packs: If you purchased a "Bundle Pack," the entire bundle must be returned together. We cannot accept partial returns of bundles unless a specific item within the bundle is defective.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
 * Digital gift cards.
 * Items marked as "As-Is" or "For Parts/Repair" in the product description.
 * Products damaged due to customer misuse, improper voltage use (using the wrong power adapter), or unauthorized repair attempts.

How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:

 * Contact Us: Email admin@triadgaming.net or use our Live Chat with your order number and the reason for the return.

 * RMA Approval: If your return is accepted, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and provide the return shipping address.

 * Packaging: Please pack the item securely (preferably in the original shipping box) to ensure it is not damaged during transit.

   * Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Shipping Costs
 * Defective Items / Our Error: If the return is due to a defective product or an error on our part (wrong item sent), Triad Gaming will provide a pre-paid shipping label and cover all costs.
 * Change of Mind: For all other returns (e.g., "don't want it anymore," "ordered by mistake"), Triad Gaming will provide a pre-paid shipping label and cover all costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Restocking Fees
 * A 0% restocking fee may be applied to returns for "Change of Mind" or "Buyer’s Remorse" to cover the costs of testing, cleaning, and re-listing vintage hardware.
 * This fee is waived if the item is being returned due to a functional defect or a shipping error.
